![]() I made this with an almost vanilla project and a workaround: I made a 4 frames animation of a dog panting, made a sprite sheet with every frame at down/right/up/left positions, and told the RPG Maker editor that the sprite was changing direction all the time. I would also like to know if there's a way to make particular animations for some actions. This is optional, but it would be very nice to have an idle animation as well (character blinking, or wind moving their hair). That's because putting a standing still frame amidst the walking frames would look bad, as if the character is stopping for no reason. If I get that plugin, I would also need it to let me have a different sprite for standing still and for walking.I couldn't find a plugin that does exactly this. I don't know yet, but maybe 8, 12 frames, 12fps, something like that. But if my sprite is big and nice I would like it to be more than that. Right now, walking animations have 4 frames. So I'd like to know if there are any plugins that let me do these: I'm mainly a 2D artist, I don't understand a single thing about making plugins. ![]() But I would like to do stuff with character animations and I'm not sure how. I already found plugins for changing tileset size, and resolution of window (and making parallax maps and changing fonts, but that's unrelated). I was looking for MV plugins and plan ahead what stuff I can and can't do.
